Welcome to Mandarin!
We are all going to embark on a great time of learning the language and culture of a country and people that have a long history and an abundant culture.
As you may also know well, Mandarin Chinese is also considered a "critical language" by the United States government. China's growing economic strength and growing influence in the world offers us an opportunity to learn. In our class, there will opporutunities to explore this important country.
Aside from the academics of the class, students' family members will also be invited to participate in many of the activities planned throughout the academic year as well as during the summer months!
